About Us

When you MOVE better, you FEEL better

At Dynamic, we offer physiotherapy treatment that incorporates Movement Based Classification Treatment (MBCT)/Clinical Pilates. We are focussed on providing you with the ability to heal thy self through targeted movements and exercises to help you live your best life.

The physiotherapy consultations involve assessment and treatment of injuries and biomechanical dysfunction. Treatment methods include dry needling, soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and targeted exercise prescription, often using the MBCT model.

Clinical Pilates, or MBCT, is offered in Physiotherapist-run group sessions, unsupervised sessions* or one-on-one and involves the use of reformers, trapeze tables, exercise balls and resistance bands to improve posture, balance, strength and joint mobility. Each person does their own specific exercises during group sessions - there is no recipe - and your exercises may change very regularly depending on any new issues which have developed.

The GLA:D (Good Living with osteoArthritis: Denmark) program is a 6 week block of twice weekly exercise sessions (run by a physiotherapist), plus 2 education sessions - one at the start of the program and one at the end of the program - to provide you with the information you need to get the most out of the program and to maintain or further improve the level of function of that you have gained throughout the program. There is an initial assessment and a follow-up appointment after completion of the program in which the physiotherapist will perform tests to provide information to a nation-wide database (with your permission). This nation-wide database provides ongoing, real-time statistics as to the success of the program. At this stage, the program is only for hip and/or knee osteoarthritis.

Our Story

Dynamic Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates was founded by Physiotherapist, Jess Kerr. Jess wanted to create a warm, welcoming physiotherapy clinic that focussed on helping people to move better by empowering them to trust their bodies and assisting them to gain the knowledge required to "heal thy self". The group sessions that are run at Dynamic are aimed at achieving just that. Social interaction and laughter while you target your problem areas, what more could you want?

Meet The Team

Jess is a local Warrnambool girl, born and bred. She lives in Warrnambool with her husband and two children. Jess has a primary focus on treatment of low back pain, cervicogenic headaches, thoracic pain and chronic neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinsons and Stroke. Jess also has a keen interest in sports injuries and is a Level 4 trained DMA Clinical Pilates physiotherapist.

Rosie is a new-local Warrnambool girl who has a passion for assisting people to move through their pain and improve their quality of life. Rosie knows that the key to good health is movement and education on how to move safely and progressively.

Rosie has keen interest and understanding of sports injuries and osteoarthritis. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys playing netball, spending time with family and friends, enjoys a good joke... but needs to work on her delivery!
